Dogs allowed at Bodnant Gardens

We were delighted to visit Bodnant Gardens at the weekend and at this time of year we can take our dogs!

The Gardens are set across 80 acres and the Estate are constantly opening up new areas to explore and discover. We feel privileged to have this magnificent National Trust Garden right on our doorstep. There’s a lovely coffee shop within the gardens, which is the perfect resting point to enjoy a hot chocolate, coffee and some biscuits next to their open fire.

There are plenty of varied walks to enjoy with or without your four legged friends and the buildings within the grounds are as beautiful as the gardens themselves. The old watermill down in the Dell is one of Lee’s favourite buildings and if you’re lucky you can spot the wild Otters enjoying their catch sheltering within this stunning property!

The Pin Mill is surrounded by the wonderfully scented Rose Gardens and drapes of wisteria. It also has a pretty pond at the front, which come Spring and Summer blooms into colour with lilies.

We can’t think of a nicer way to spend one of our weekends than at this brilliant National Trust property. There is also a restaurant on-site, Edinburgh Wool Mill, Garden Centre and Craft shops so plenty to do come rain or shine! Throughout Winter (December through to the end of February) the Trust are allowing dogs into the Gardens. We also accept dogs at both Haulfre Gardens and The Buoys so why not join us and take your four legged friends to the magnificent Bodnant Gardens for a wonderful walk?!
